Hybrid Battery Reconditioning Service

For our customers in the Portland, Oregon area, Bumblebee Batteries offers professional hybrid battery reconditioning services. These services are the ultimate maintenance for your hybrid battery, and are also valuable for pinpointing issues with failed hybrid batteries.

We currently offer the following hybrid battery reconditioning services for all Honda and Toyota hybrid vehicles:

Comprehensive Reconditioning and Analysis

Cost is $700 for any Honda Hybrid vehicle (Not currently available for Toyota Prius). This is a stick-by-stick procedure that includes disassembling your battery and testing each sub-pack module individually on our specialized equipment. The only way a true State of Health diagnosis can be determined. This service comes with our pro-rated warranty. Individual sub-pack graphs and details will be provided upon request. This is a great option for those who want to know the true status of their pack, while also performing the most thorough reconditioning available. Subject to availability; process can take up to 4 weeks.

 

If during the above analysis it is determined that your pack needs repairs, we will replace one stick (or pair on Accords, Insight 2010-2012, CRZ 2010-2014 and Civic 2006-2011) at no additional charge. Additional sticks will be quoted. If more than 50% of the pack is bad we will recommend other options.

We will guarantee our procedures to restore your battery to working condition for a period of 6 months, or you may apply a portion of the cost of the procedure towards the purchase of a new battery during that time. The rate is $100/mo. The remainder, up to $500, can be applied towards a new battery at any time during the warranty period. This is to give you an option in case nothing happens, or it is found that most of your sticks are bad, in the case of Comprehensive analysis. So for example if you wanted to get a new battery after seeing the results of a Comprehensive Reconditioning, we would apply a $500 credit towards a new battery.
